In 1998 Ruth Segal became Reiki master and started giving treatments and courses. People also study with her to become a Reiki master.

Since the time she started giving lessons the Reiki course evolved to become an intensive opportunity to treat life in a total different way. All aspects that block life are studied, but above all together with the student she will focus on the means to live life in the best possible way. Also she will give attention to the way a student encounters healing. All material in the courses, from the five rules of Usui, the energetic attunements to new ways to express those new insights in a practical way are explained with the purpose and the intension to evoke well being and growth. That does not mean that illness and difficulties are denied, but it does mean that we look at them with those new insights to encourage acceptance and new possibilities.

Ruth is giving the courses while working with the specific view on life from the students themselves. From which view a student want to approach life makes no difference, for example a student can have a religious, philosophical, atheistic, psychological or humanistic way of looking at life. But it is important how! Is this view making them happy, open for life? Is it stimulating growth, does it give them new insights and opportunities? With respect for the way students think Ruth gives them keys to transform their visions if that is necessary for them. Every way of experiencing life can be life giving.

Since 1985 Ruth works with astrology. If it is beneficial for a client she makes horoscopes.

In 2004 Ruth became an assemblagepoint therapist. This therapy combines very well with Reiki treatments.
